Submissions to First Sight only within submissions windows to novelhovelpoetrypress@gmail.com First Sight imprint will produce (pamphlets) 12-24 pages of poetry.

Please ensure that all work is original and entirely your own and that any permissions have been sought for any quotes or other where permissions are needed.

For submission windows see below. Send your collection in PDF in the first instance. No fancy fonts please. Title page, Contents page, no name to appear in body of document, name document Title and then your name. A covering letter within the body of your e-mail telling us a little bit about you would be nice but don’t worry about this as it is your poems that matter.

Novel Hovel Press – We deal with poets over 25. Most of what we are looking for can be seen on our What We are Looking For page. But above all we are hoping for original high quality work. We also aim to promote contemporary artists by using complete or sections of their work on the covers of our books. We believe in collaboration across the arts community.

Please ensure that all work is original and entirely your own and that any permissions have been sought for any quotes or other where permissions are needed.

Submissions to NHP only within the submissions windows to: novelhovelpress@yahoo.com For submissions window see below. Please send us six poems from your collection in PDF in the first instance. A covering letter within the body of your e-mail telling us a little bit about yourself would be nice but not essential. We will contact short-listed poets to see the full collection within the submissions window before we decide on the final poet.

We are sorry that we cannot give feedback on submissions due to time limits but we will contact those selected for publication within a few weeks of the submissions window closing. We would like to stress to poets that selection of work is, to an extent, subjective and we would urge writers to keep going and be true to their own poetic instincts.

SUBMISSION WINDOWS: We are now open and accepting submissions from July to October 14th, 2021. Publication of chosen collections will be in early 2022.

Please only send by e-mail at this time. Postal submissions will not be read. Thank you.
